This position is located in our Pittsburgh office and is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling design engineering projects. It involves client interface; budget forecasting and projection; technical and cost proposal preparations; engineering drawing and specification review; project scheduling; and quality review. Previous project management is preferred. | Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
- P.E. License.
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in bridge design and/or bridge inspection.
- Ability to meet schedules and control budgets.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as a team leader.
- Excellent oral and written communications as well as negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of PennDOT and PA Turnpike Commission procedures and plan presentation.

Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests and is responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator. | Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent plus four (4) years of experience in construction inspection, two (2) years of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction.
- Must have the following Florida Department of Transportation Certifications:
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I.
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I.
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II.
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II.
- FDOT Intermediate MOT.
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I.
