| SAI Wins $2 Million Engineering and Environmental Open End with District 10-0 | January 13, 2012, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been selected by PennDot District 10-0 for the engineering and environmental open end with the possibility of several types of projects with short completion schedules. The anticipated types of projects include but not limited to bridge replacements or bridge rehabilitation with minor approach work, environmental studies, roadway betterments (3R type), minor capital improvement projects (bridges or roadway), railroad grade crossing projects, and minor location studies, etc. This agreement will also require non-destructive subsurface utility engineering.

| SAI Wins Construction Management/Construction Inspection Job with the City of Pittsburgh | | January 13, 2012, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been selected by the City of Pittsburgh for the Brookline Boulevard Improvement Project. The project consists of improvements to a half mile section of Brookline Boulevard from Pioneer Avenue to Starkamp Street in the City of Pittsburgh. The proposed improvements include a new curb, bump-outs and sidewalks, milling and overlay of existing pavements, new signing, street lighting and signal upgrades, new parking meters and drainage facilities, the upgrade or abandonment of existing vaults, new landscaping and streetscape amenities, and the conversion of parking on Chelton Avenue from angled to parallel. The estimated construction value of the entire project is $5 million. |
| SAI Awarded Construction Inspection and Documentation Agreement with PennDOT District 11-0 | | December 19, 2011, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 11-0 has awarded SAI a contract to provide construction inspection and documentation services for S.R. 2037-A07. This project involves the rehabilitation of a steel multi-girder structure on SR 2037 over Turtle Creek, Norfolk Southern and Union Railroads, as well as the rehabilitation of Ramp T of the Tri-Boro Expressway. The overall construction is valued at $18,000,000 and work is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2012. |

SAI will be required to perform all tasks and activities necessary to complete the final design, right of way acquisition and construction consultation for both of these projects. |
| SAI Wins Construction Management/Construction Inspection Agreement with The City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Works | | September 30, 2011, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been selected by The City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Works for construction inspection and management services for Beechwood Boulevard and Browns Hill Road phase II traffic improvement project includes the replacement of traffic signal equipment at two signalized intersections Lilac and Hazelwood. Also the existing handicap facilities will be replaced with updated ADA compliant ramps and audible pedestrian signal indicators. The existing bituminous pavement will be milled and resurfaced with bituminous surfacing. Street lighting along the entire corridor will be replaced. The estimated construction value is $3,000,000. |
| SAI Wins $21 Million Full Depth Roadway Reconstruction Project With Turnpike | | September 16, 2011, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been selected by The Pennsylvania Turnpike for engineering design services for the full depth roadway from MP 57.00 to MP 67.00 in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties. The contract will entail preliminary and final design services for approximately 10.5 miles of the Turnpike resulting in a six-lane typical section and widening of the median width from 10 feet to 26 feet. (the Pittsburgh Interchange to the Irwin Interchange) Also included is the replacement of all overhead and mainline structures, the lengthening of culverts, the acquisition of right-of-way and the possibility of retaining and/or noise walls. |
| SAI Wins NBIS Bridge Inspection Contract In District 11-0 | | September 15, 2011, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been selected by PennDOT to provide routine NBIS inspection of FCB and non-FCB for approximately 48 State Bridges. This will include routine NBIS inspection on all structures and special inspections or in depth inspections as directed by the department and will include core element condition state inspections, i-forms inspections, fatigue prone detail and intersecting weld documentation, fracture critical plan documentation, rocker bearing documentation, scour sketch and documentation, cross section development and analysis, inspection and analysis summaries, maintenance item recommendations and priorities, and detailed reports in both paper and electronic formats. The anticipated duration of the agreement is 5 years. |

| SAIs CEO Receives Distinguished Service Award in Engineering | January 22, 2010, Pittsburgh, PA -- Donald V. Gennuso, P.E. Chief Executive Officer, SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. is the recipient of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers Distinguished Service Award 2010. The award will be presented during the National Engineers Week Banquet at the Club at Nevillewood on February 27, 2010. This award recognizes an individual for their outstanding contributions toward the improvement of the social, economic, and professional status of the Professional Engineer.
Donald V. Gennuso, P.E., P.L.S., earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, and is a registered professional engineer in several states including Florida, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia. In addition, he is a registered land surveyor in Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the President of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA) and has served as the president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). Mr. Gennuso is also a long-standing member of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, and the Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania.
Under Mr. Gennusos leadership as CEO, SAI has grown from a company with a handful of employees to an employee-owned corporation with 170 employees and three offices, which ENR has recognized as one of the top 500 Design Firms in the United States. Prior to joining Salvucci Engineers, Inc. (now SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc.) in 1978, Mr. Gennuso began his civil engineering career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, District 11-0, in 1964.

Work consists of, but is not limited to, concrete patching and paving (bituminous overlay), a curve improvement, maintenance of drainage facilities, upgrading of guide rail and median barrier, full-depth pavement reconstruction to increase vertical clearance under the S.R. 3021 overhead structure. Beam repairs and partial painting will be included on the S.R. 3021 overhead bridge along with minor changes to another mainline structure.
